Bring Poetry to Heart

Throughout life, like so many others, I have experienced loss and have found that loss is closely related to love.  As though the greater your feelings of love, the more difficult it is to cope with the loss. These poems address the interconnectedness between love and loss and how it is so much a part of life and what brings fulfillment and a deep sense of joy and happiness. It is never easy to experience loss, whether through death, a relationship breakup, changing jobs, or moving from a place you call home. There is also a type of loss or confusion about yourself or your essence.  The big “who am I really” question.  All these things are shared in these poems and hopefully, help to uplift one’s heart and spirit in the reading of them.

Bring Poetry to Life

I’d like you to share with you why this book helps to move you and others dear to you into a deeper and more soul-inspired place. No matter who you are sometimes life’s challenges can seem overwhelming. The poems describe a range of experiences and through them, you realize that you are not alone and others have experienced similar low moments in life. However, somehow by just moving forward, you learn to cope, gain a better understanding, and discover new avenues to heal and uplift yourself and others.

Bring Poetry to  Spirit

Spiritual essence has always been a crucial part of my experience and through daily meditation and prayer, I strive to awaken new perspectives and gain insights into life and valuable lessons. So many people I meet are seeking something outside themselves and these poems convey a down to earth, practical way to connect with your inner self, you as a spiritual being. Sometimes we forget that we are not a human being having a spiritual experience, but rather we are a spiritual being having a human experience. To me, as we walk this earth, the two are difficult to separate even though we sometimes forget about our spiritual beingness. These poems remind us of this wonderful connection.
